WordPress. How does it weigh up against other Blogging hosts?
In actual fact , I’d say it has the edge on other hosting companies. Not only is it free , and remotely hosted , but you can incorperate it into a normal website too , giving you a much wider theme choice. If you don’t beleive this God of a statement , check out http://www.themes.wordpress.com.
Blogger-
Good Points:
- AdSense – Make a profit if you can legally go to prison
- RSS and Link feed – Instant notification of recent blog posts
- Google makes it easier to search similar content on other blogging sites
Bad Points
- Canot be used in a seperate website
- Few Stylish themes
- No extra stand-alone pages
Twitter-
Good Points ;
- easy to post
- Javascript Code – Paste into Html File , use in website
- Easy access to other twitter sites]]
Bad Points
- 140 word limit
- Too simple
- Can’t compete with other hosts
WordPress-
Good Points ;
- Stylish Themes
- Custom Pages
- Incorparative into a seperate website
- easy to use
- Very Customisable
Bad Points ;
- Very Limited Themes
- Take’s some getting used to
- Some features are hard to use
- some features hard to find
So , all in all , it’s kind of a matter of opinion. But , to be honest I think that wordpress is better , mainly because it’s a blog , but you can convert it into a website if you feel the need. If you have any other Blog Hosting sites , comment and I’ll check it out , and edit this post
Expect some more words of wisdom later this 24 hour period. I’m planning this to be daily , so I’ll make up for yesterday’s miss
